SPIRITUAL COMPATIBILITY IN MARRIAGE . M arriage is a complex affair that must be viewed from various perspectives and built by diverse tools. That’s why for the children of God, it must and should start somewhere-with spiritual compatibility .    Sometimes this year I was traveling to Eldoret and came across a disheartening scenario. A lorry had had an accident a short distance from kipkaren center. the container had a consignment of clothes. I guess the lorry was on transit to Uganda or Rwanda. Perhaps a trader was going to sell this consignment for a profit.I was shocked to see people, I mean men, women and children scrambling  and fighting for the clothes. The stronger and muscular you were the more you made away with. I am afraid of the fact that the children were participating along with the adults as others were watching from a distance: parents and neighbors reaping from where they did not sow. That was a vice being passed on to the next generation. You can  imagine what kind of a posterity that is going  to be.    And that's why I keep on saying that even with the new constitutional dispensation, Kenyans should not expect too much unless there is a change from within. Today  I was riding and was reminded of something I came across last week.Today it gave me a lot of insight. Last week I had gone to Busia town for my usual duties. Then there was this small crowd that caught my attention. When I moved closer I saw an old man. Of course the crowd had encircled him. There were a variety of luggage around him. He was carrying others as well as figuring out how he could lift the rest to his shoulder.These luggages contained a myriad of things: sticks, dirty rags,metals, leaves,twigs.....I am sure this man had gone crazy. The people were jokingly trying to convince him  to let them burn the luggages but the man firmly declined and guarded them enviously. Any way these people wanted to set him free by doing that but it was in vain.To the people this man was carrying trash. I heard him claiming that he can not allow them set ablaze his precious assets. That some of the luggages contained some of his best and modern clothes  of European type.I...
