FUNNY KENYANS
Sometimes this year I was traveling to Eldoret and came across a disheartening scenario. A lorry had had an accident a short distance from kipkaren center. the container had a consignment of clothes. I guess the lorry was on transit to Uganda or Rwanda. Perhaps a trader was going to sell this consignment for a profit.I was shocked to see people, I mean men, women and children scrambling and fighting for the clothes. The stronger and muscular you were the more you made away with. I am afraid of the fact that the children were participating along with the adults as others were watching from a distance: parents and neighbors reaping from where they did not sow. That was a vice being passed on to the next generation. You can imagine what kind of a posterity that is going to be. And that's why I keep on saying that even with the new constitutional dispensation, Kenyans should not expect too much unless there is a change from within. Its we the peop...
